Dennis, our Community Liaison, pictured along with Erin, from Be Well – YMCA, and Heather, with Clarion Psychiatric Center, attended the Warren Co. Glow Walk for Suicide Prevention this past weekend. The event was sponsored by AFSP- CORE Warren Suicide Task Force. Despite the weather, it was a well-attended event, and we were happy to be there to support their efforts. #SPM24

October is ADHD Awareness Month. We take this month to recognize the struggles those with ADHD face, as well as working to reduce stigma and promote acceptance and inclusion. Stay informed on the latest information regarding ADHD at https://lnkd.in/gA86FYy.

September is #NationalRecoveryMonth. Even as the month comes to an end, recovery happens every day, and support is available to help you stay on track. One way we help to support recovery is hosting AA meetings every Tuesday at 6:30 pm. These meetings are open to the community. Please join us for some fun, food and treats on October 28 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. as we host our 1st annual Trunk or Treat event. This is a no-cost event and open to the community. We hope to see you there!

The 4th annual memorial Jeep Ride for Sunshine 4 Saige was hosted this past weekend! There were over 60 jeeps present at the event to bring awareness for suicide prevention. Participants gathered and rode throughout the county visiting several memorial sites before coming together again for a meal, resources, and fundraising. The 22nd Annual Chef's on Stage fundraiser was held last evening at Toftrees Resort in State College. It was a beautiful evening to come together to share some amazing food and support a great cause. Strawberry Fields is the beneficiary of the proceeds from this year's event. The funds will be used to support the opening of their second Fairweather Lodge.

Dauphin County ASPIRE (Allies for Suicide Prevention: Inspiring, Responding, Educating) hosted their first Suicide Prevention Conference earlier this week in Harrisburg. We were proud to sponsor the event and network with professionals from the region to share resources and support those in need. Saint Francis University hosted their annual Suicide Prevention Walk and Vigil on September 10, National Suicide Prevention Day. Students came together to support one another and learn about resources available in the community. Our team was present to provide students with flashlights and glow sticks to help "light the way" to recovery. We would like to thank Saint Francis for the opportunity to be part of such an important event. #SPM24
