Using cholangiocarcinoma cell lines, researchers found that low ESRP1 and high ZEB1 levels, along with increased CD44s, drive tumor progression through EMT. 𝗩𝗶𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗚𝗲𝗹® 𝗛𝘆𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗲𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘅 was used for the spheroid invasion assay, providing a matrix that closely mimics the natural extracellular matrix (ECM) environment. This allowed for accurate analysis of spheroid invasion, helping the researchers assess how ESRP1 and ZEB1 silencing affected cell migration and invasion in a setting that resembles the 𝘪𝘯 𝘷𝘪𝘷𝘰 environment.
