How New York Grows
About us
CANY is the largest cannabis association in NY – with hundreds of members stretched across the supply chain from seed-to-sale, and in every region of the state. Through our policy and regional committees, we work to engage with the various communities of interest within the NY cannabis economy. Since our founding in 2019, we have helped draft multiple laws and countless regulations to build a cannabis industry that benefits small and midscale NYS businesses first.

#NYcannabis provides an opportunity for all New Yorkers to participate. It's a market that champions community, equity, and small business development, but don’t just take OCM's word for it. Check the numbers.

"It’s great to see the Cannabis Control Board taking action today to clarify to municipalities the rules the state is using to issue licenses that supersede objections at the local level. However, New York State’s cannabis law makes clear the only opportunity to block dispensaries from opening was through the opt-out process that ended nearly three years ago and more needs to be done to ensure that municipalities aren’t establishing local rules that so deeply limit the placement of dispensaries as to prevent them entirely, a situation we see commonly on Long Island and elsewhere in the state." https://lnkd.in/ews_73Sg #newyorkcannabis

Dope piece in #BinghamtonHomepage on Marino. client #JustBreathe about how they’re using the power of #cannabis to give back to the community through #nonprofit initiatives. From supporting local organizations to #mentalhealth advocacy, Just Breathe is redefining what it means to make an impact beyond business. It's about connection, #wellness, and leading with purpose. Proud to support Just Breathe as they continue to uplift their community and show that cannabis businesses can drive meaningful #socialimpact. "Just Breathe on Court Street in downtown #Binghamton has launched a new non-profit Just Breathe Tomorrows. CEO Damien Cornwell says the organization has received $25,000 in seed money from #cannabis sales to get it started. Cornwell says its initial focus will be on supporting single parents and reducing recidivism. Just Breathe Tomorrows will raise money from other cannabis businesses and local non-cannabis donors and make grants to existing non-profits to support their existing programs. That includes money for Urban League childcare programs and the Hope Foundation’s work to assist people in recovery." #CannabisPR #CannabisCommunity #MarinoCannabis #CannabisWithPurpose
