What is Altair Grass-Fed Wagyu and how does it differ from other Wagyu products? Well, it’s genetics. Pure-bred Wagyu does not grow fast enough for most processors by eating grass alone. Altair cross-breeds their full blood Wagyu cows with Black Angus Bulls in order to take advantage of the Angus ability to grow faster (add muscle and weight) on grass feed.
