She's beauty, she's grace—she's the newly renovated JW Marriott in New Orleans. Our work on the JW Marriott property improvement plan is now complete. The updates span the 3rd floor, ballroom, and first-floor lobby, featuring new carpets, light fixtures, wall coverings, ceiling tiles, millwork, gold flake paint, quartz countertops, backlit planter boxes, and more. 1 Million Safe Man-Hours! As of October 4, 2024, RNGD proudly achieved 1 million safe work hours without a single OSHA recordable injury! This accomplishment highlights our dedication to workplace safety and proactive measures for employee well-being. Reaching this milestone reflects our commitment to a safety-first culture, strict adherence to protocols, and continuous vigilance. A huge thank you to the entire RNGD team for maintaining a “Safety Always” mindset, embodying our core values of Safety Always For Everyone (S.A.F.E.). While we celebrate this achievement, RNGD remains dedicated to ongoing safety improvements through training, regular inspections, and employee feedback.

Last Friday, our DeSaix Bridge team took advantage of the beautiful weather with a shrimp boil at the site. A great way to kick off the weekend together.

2 Awards – One Year RNGD is celebrating a significant milestone as our Propel Park, Phase 1 project has earned two prestigious awards a little over a month apart. Engineering News-Record TX-LA has regionally recognized Propel Park, Phase 1 as the Best Manufacturing Project, while the ABC New Orleans/Bayou Chapter has honored us with an Excellence Award, which acknowledges the nation’s most innovative and high-quality construction projects. In true renegade fashion, this project faced skepticism regarding the speed and agility our team demonstrated in bringing the park to life. However, after witnessing our team in action, perceptions shifted, highlighting the quality and efficiency of our work on this project. Notably, we completed the project two months ahead of schedule, allowing us to return a net credit for landscaping enhancements. As the manufacturing industry continues to grow, we are proud to receive this recognition for our commitment to excellence and look forward to future projects that push the boundaries of innovation.

As the charitable arm of RNGD, Palmisano Foundation enables us to create educational pathways for disadvantaged youth in architecture, engineering, and construction.
