Renegade Thinking. Revolutionary Results.

About us

RNGD takes a multidisciplinary approach to commercial building, infrastructure, and industrialized construction. Our renegade mentality challenges the traditional approach to construction, enabling us to deliver the highest quality work on time and on budget and eliminate uncertainty, delay, overruns, and compromises throughout the construction lifecycle. Building We’ve structured our organization to be a comprehensive partner for our clients. Our relationships throughout the construction industry enable us to professionally coordinate every step of a project, eliminating rework and overcoming obstacles along the way. Infrastructure With every road, bridge, and public space we repair and revitalize, we know our efforts move our communities forward. More than strengthening infrastructure, we’re creating the enduring foundations that future generations will come to rely upon. Industrialized Construction We give our clients the advantage of more efficient, consistent and cost-effective building with our industrialized construction services. Developed by RNGD, our standalone R&D division, we offer full-service custom fabrication, prefab, manufacturing, assembly, design, and technology to build faster and better.

What’s Scarier than Halloween? New Orleans Floods. Our city regularly experiences storms that overwhelm the drainage system, resulting in localized flooding and property damage. Fortunately, the city has given our infrastructure team the opportunity to improve the drainage system in nine neighborhoods: Broadmoor, Central City, Garden District, Lower Garden District, Touro, East Riverside, and Milan, using green infrastructure solutions. We are already making significant progress, including the installation of new drainage pipes and the construction of four water retention systems at AL Davis Park, Taylor Playground, Clay Square, and Annunciation Park. These systems will alleviate the pressure on Pump Station 01 by temporarily storing stormwater and releasing it gradually. As we near the completion of the system at AL Davis Park, which can hold over 229,000 cubic feet of stormwater, we look forward to starting on the next park, which will feature an even larger capacity of over 250,000 cubic feet.

Last week, RNGD visited Baton Rouge for Louisiana State University's Fall Construction Week. We kicked off the week by guest lecturing for the LSU Construction Student Association, discussing RNGD's divisions and operations. Students then enjoyed a social hour at Modesto's, where they networked with our team. The next day, our team connected with CM and Engineering students at the LSU Construction Industry Advisory Council Career Fair, followed by a networking event at the Champion's Club in Alex Box Stadium, where we met both students and other industry professionals. To end the week, our team leaders conducted interviews for eligible candidates during Construction Interviewing Day, alongside 100 contractors. Thank you to everyone who came out! We had a great time meeting and networking with you all. Special thanks to Piper Bellcase, Jacob St Pierre, Brandon Himel, Glennon Ruppert, Jace Kuhlmann, David Huddleston, Max Murret, E.I., Ashlyn Martinez, Christopher Dupré, Matthew McMahon, Erin Comeaux, Ryan Barrosse, William Cotten, Amy Caboni, Michelle Lozano-Hales, Emily Garrity, and Natalie Martinez, for making this possible.

Looking for something to do this weekend in New Orleans? The New Orleans Museum of Art Sculpture Garden is a must-visit attraction. Completed in 2019, RNGD was the Design-Assist Contractor for its 6.5-acre expansion.  The project included improvements to the water system, installation of pathways and bridges, construction of The Pavilion—designed by Reed Hilderbrand LLC Landscape Architecture and Lee Ledbetter & Associates—and wildlife protection. RNGD enhanced the shorelines and used advanced surveying technology to capture nearly 21 million points across the site.  New Orleans weather is predictably unpredictable. Despite 95 days of rain causing flooding, RNGD stabilized the site to complete 800 feet of walkways and bridges.    Key features include the 300-ft. submerged Canal Bridge and a 70-ft. glass bridge depicting the Mississippi River's avulsions. The project was completed three months early, offering a unique art experience for NOMA and a successful test of partnership for RNGD.

Take a dip into the details of Memoir and Common House Formerly the Louisiana Children's Museum, Memoir and Common House combine residential and hospitality. Owned by AJ Capital Partners, this newly renovated space incorporates eye-catching details from floor to ceiling. While our team served as the lead contractor and design-build partner for the project’s MEP components, Hartshorne Plunkard Architecture’s designs are to thank for the colorful textures and patterns that brought this project to life, giving it the personality and character admired by residents and visitors. By blending these various patterns and textures, the project honors the building's history while creating a modern feel.

Dirt is moving at the future site of Mid-City Lofts in Lake Charles!  This development marks the first phase of the HUD Choice Neighborhoods Initiative, a collaboration between the Lake Charles Housing Authority, the City of Lake Charles, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, and HRI Properties. This initiative is important for the economic revitalization of Southwest Louisiana following the impacts of Hurricanes Laura and Delta, and we’re proud to be bringing this project to life.  Mid-City Lofts will feature 46 modern apartments in a three-story mid-rise building. Residents will enjoy a range of shared amenities, including a fitness center and a computer room. In light of the recent hurricanes, we are prioritizing sustainability and disaster resilience, aiming for certifications like Enterprise Green Communities and FORTIFIED Multifamily Gold.  Keep an eye out for more updates!

In celebration of our new office in Nashville, today we highlight the project that made this dream a reality here at RNGD. In 2021, we entered Nashville with the same Renegade spirit that drives our success in New Orleans. We partnered with Sachs Capital Group LP to lead the renovation of the iconic Tennessean Travel Stop in Cornersville, TN—a beloved I-65 landmark that had been devastated by a fire just a year prior. This 25,000-square-foot project completed in 2023 involved rebuilding nearly everything, except for one fueling station canopy. The facility features a full-service cocktail bar, an ice cream shop, and an expanded outdoor seating area, including a rooftop deck next to the second-floor bar. It also revives the cherished BBQ restaurant. Beyond restoring this historic stop, this project allowed us to showcase RNGD’s Renegade ethos in a new region and connect with a new audience.
