"My original life plan involved obtaining a Criminal Justice degree and starting my career at a level 8 juvenile facility. Fortunately, a friend intervened and guided me towards a career in banking. I was able to quickly learn as I progressed from roles like a teller, new accounts, consumer loans, licensed banker, up to a management position and into treasury management. Each step brought about significant personal and professional development for me. Two key lessons I’ve learned along the way include that leading anything starts with leading by example, always be willing to do whatever it is you ask of others, and the grass isn’t always greener elsewhere, it’s green where you water it so be sure to water your own lawn. These principles have been instrumental in my own advancement at Third Coast. With both my kids now in college – Go Red Raiders! – I can pursue my work and personal passions with equal focus. And after over six years in treasury management sales, I recently transitioned to a new role in the Bank's project management office, which I’m loving. It allows me to share my passion for details with innovative project teams. While one of my personal goals is to hike 20 miles in a day, with my current record standing at 9 ½ miles. Overall, I am grateful for that friend's guidance and grateful for the opportunities that have allowed me to learn and grow in my banking career." Cheryl Puccinelli

We want give a big shout out to our TCB team that participated in at the Pearland Innovation Hub Youth Entrepreneur Camp. Students were selected from the following schools: McNair JHS (Alvin ISD), Rise Homeschool Classes, Pearland ISD to participate in this camp. Our TCB volunteers facilitated camp, worked with students, provide professional experience around entrepreneurship & banking, & taught financial education. Thank you to the volunteers for making this happen!
