About us

Third Millennium Ministries (IIIM) is an Evangelical Christian parachurch ministry. Our goal is to provide Christian education to hundreds of thousands of pastors around the world who lack sufficient training for ministry. We are meeting this goal by publishing and globally distributing a free multilingual, multimedia, digital seminary curriculum in English, Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin), Russian and Spanish. The curriculum is designed to be used in support of existing schools, as well as by groups and individuals. (From thirdmill.org)

  • Even though we can’t know when Jesus will arrive, Scripture does mention several circumstances that are precursors to his return. Generally speaking, these precursors aren’t absolute. Nevertheless, the circumstances that Scripture says will precede Christ’s return still guide us. To learn more about the expectations and warning provided in scripture that prepare us for Christ's arrival, watch today's Topic Video. • Since 2021, Thirdmill has been grateful to partner with the Asia Pacific Institute of International Studies, contributing to their vision of providing free biblical training for pastors in Asia. In 1995, Dr. Paul Choo felt called to share his faith with his patients, ultimately leaving medicine to start a church. After serving as a pastor for 20 years, he desired to train more pastors, leading him to launch APIIS. While Dr. Choo lacked theological training, he became connected with and found that Thirdmill could provide exactly what APIIS needed: comprehensive theological curriculum. Dr. Choo's mission is to provide "21st century training, for Asia, for free," and when he learned about Thirdmill, he was eager to begin a partnership. Today, APIIS's two-year Master of Ministry program includes 66 weeks of study, of which 51 weeks utilize Thirdmill curriculum. Through Thirdmill's resources, APIIS is able to provide higher-education for Christians in a country where this is usually inaccessible. One-third of APIIS's students are pastors, while two-thirds are lay leaders who seek a holistic view of ministry, such as Dennis Valesco. Dennis has used Thirdmill materials to "help integrate theology with other areas of ministry, such as leadership and cultural engagement." This training and education is transforming many lives! Through our partnership with APIIS, Thirdmill is accomplishing the mission of providing Biblical Education. For the World. For Free. Read more about our partnership in our Fall 2024 newsletter. Dr. Richard Pratt sat with Dr. Choo to discuss the impact of Thirdmill's materials on APIIS. • #weareThirdmill in📍Kisii, Kenya “I witnessed the infectious nature of Thirdmill’s ministry at work!” – Rev. Josiah Katumu Recently, Josiah Katumu, Thirdmill’s Partnerships Director, and Elisha Nyambori, our Country Director for Kenya, attended a pastors’ conference hosted by Bishop Elisha Odero and Mustard Christian Centre (MCC). What unfolded was truly remarkable. The response to the Thirdmill curriculum was nothing short of overwhelming! Pastors were eager to dive into the materials, some wanting to start immediately—even without prior training. Even Bishop Odero, who had been busy preparing for the conference, was captivated after viewing our videos. “You have no idea what a blessing Thirdmill will be for this town and beyond,” he said, scheduling a meeting for key leaders to explore how they could establish learning communities in their churches. During this meeting, it became evident that many pastors, despite decades of ministry, lacked formal biblical training. One leader, John, was so inspired that he gathered 10 people to form a learning community and expressed a desire to become a trainer. After remote training, John is now training fellow pastors to lead their own groups! But the impact didn’t stop there. Bishop Odero recognized Thirdmill’s potential and connected us with other bishops who hadn’t attended the conference. They were initially skeptical of the quality of Thirdmill's materials because they are free, but this perspective changed dramatically upon seeing the curriculum. MCC is now a hub for Thirdmill training, with a network of eight other churches forming a learning community to begin the Thirdmill Insitute together. They aim to kick off the Foundation Certificate for 24 churches and leaders next month! These are new partners "who are willing to become champions of Thirdmill by inviting others to ‘come and see,’ so they may benefit from a good and solid Bible and theology curriculum.” Exciting times ahead as we continue to equip and empower leaders in their communities! Stay updated and learn more in our newsletter! 🙌
