The founders, Neal Thomson and Patrick Cooke share a passion for residential architecture and have built a practice where the focus is on collaborating with clients to create stylish, livable homes. The office is known for its work in urban and suburban neighborhoods throughout the Washington, DC region as well as waterfront properties along the Chesapeake Bay. Whether building a new house or updating an existing one, the firm balances the simplicity of traditional American residential design with an updated aesthetic and a focus towards classic design principles and current building practices.
