  • Visualizing your financial goals can elevate your mindset and keep you motivated to achieve them. What might you include on a vision board for your finances? Here are some ideas: 🔹 Savings Goals: A representation of the savings accounts you wish to build (an emergency fund, vacation fund, wedding fund). Include a photo to represent that goal and the total amount you wish to save for it. 🔹 Investment Aspirations: Pictures of assets or stock market graphs to visualize growing your investment portfolio—and a visual representation of what those payouts could provide you down the road (college savings for your grandkids, a vacation home). 🔹 Debt-Free Milestones: Images or quotes that represent being debt-free and the feelings that would come with reaching that goal. 🔹 Dream Purchases: Visuals of big-ticket items you hope to purchase one day (like a home or car) to give your saving efforts a purpose. 🔹 Financial Education Motivation: Book covers or quotes about finance to encourage continuous learning. Remember, you can always adjust your financial vision board as your goal change or as you’ve made progress! Consider taking a photo of it and printing copies to keep in places you frequent. What would you include on your financial vision board? We’d love to help you reach whatever goals you’d incorporate!

  • Learn More Indiana’s “College GO!” kicked off their “College Application Week” to end the month. This initiative is designed to help high school seniors apply to multiple Indiana colleges at no cost, with many schools waving application fees through the end of September or longer. This is a great time to explore and apply to schools you’re interested in for free, so we encourage you to take advantage of it! Learn More Indiana includes several other resources for students looking to apply for college, as well as educators, as a part of their "College GO!" offerings. Check them out, and get in touch with our Youth & College Support Team if you’d like additional support with planning for and funding your higher education.

  • Did you know the equity you’ve built in your home can be a powerful financial tool? By borrowing against your home's value, you can access funds for major expenses like home renovations, debt consolidation, or education costs. Home equity loans and lines of credit often offer lower interest rates and better terms compared to other loan options, and, depending on how much equity you have in your home, may allow you to borrow more funds. ➡ We’d love to help you explore whether a home equity loan is a good fit for your financial needs.
