Oksana Mirzoyan, an Armenian-American commercial and narrative filmmaker, is known for her acclaimed narrative films showcased worldwide, including at prestigious festivals like Berlinale, Clermand-Ferrand, Camerimage, and Locarno. Based in Detroit, she is a Kresge Arts Fellow and teaches film at the College for Creative Studies. Mirzoyan's artistic contributions extend to commissioned work by the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCAD), with a solo exhibition of her work at the Detroit Institute of Arts. Currently, she is working on two features as a writer/ director, “Abysm,” set to be filmed in Armenia, and “Isle of Light,” produced by Killer Films.
