Fantastic to have world top 100 golf course Lofoten Links onboard for the 2024 season with a range of our recycled ocean plastic headcovers. Based above the arctic circle in northern Norway, Lofoten Links boast dramatic coastlines and spectacular sea views. The photo above is from their signature 2nd hole named Arholmen, voted one of the best par 3’s in the world, which showcases the close relationship between golf and sea, and the importance of protecting these beloved coastlines from ocean plastic.

Golf accessories handmade in Scotland using recycled ocean plastic - www.tidal-links.com
About us
Ocean plastic waste has become a global issue, with at least 8 tonnes of plastic entering our oceans every year. Not only does plastic impact the marine environment through ingestion and entanglement of hundreds of marine species, it also directly impacts our food safety and quality, with the migration of micro-plastics in our tap water. In order to raise awareness of the issues around ocean plastics, Tidal Links are using its recycled ocean plastic range of products as a platform for change no only within golf, but throughout modern life. Our high quality products are made to last and offer a more sustainable alternative to traditional golf products, without compromising on style. All products are now handmade in Scotland.

Deep in the pristine Arctic, scientists were baffled to find tiny microplastics embedded in the ice of remote glaciers. It's like finding a soda bottle in an untouched forest. These microplastics, some no bigger than a grain of sand, traveled vast distances, carried by winds and precipitation. It's a stark reminder that even the most remote corners of our planet aren't immune to human impact. Think of glaciers as time capsules. As they slowly move, they trap everything in their path, including plastics. When scientists examine layers of ice, they can actually see a timeline of plastic pollution increasing over the years. It's like reading a history book, where each page tells a more concerning story of our growing reliance on plastics. As global temperatures rise and glaciers melt, these trapped plastics are released back into the environment. It's a double-edged sword. Not only are we losing precious freshwater resources, but we're also unleashing a new wave of pollution that was once locked away in icy vaults. It's a reminder of how interconnected our actions and the health of our planet truly are. #SustainabilityMatters #PlasticPollution #ClimateAction #EcoFriendly #EnvironmentProtection #Recycle #ZeroWaste #SustainableLiving #GreenPlanet #EarthCare
