Recruiting is no walk in the park. Some days, it feels like finding a needle in a haystack—trying to connect the right people with the right teams, all while juggling tight deadlines and a tough labor market. It’s stressful, no doubt. But the WINS? They’re everything. When a candidate lands a job they’re excited about or a client tells me, “You nailed it with this hire” - that is what makes it all worth it. It’s about more than just filling a role. It’s about helping build teams that will shape our communities. And for me, that’s the real reward. Yesterday, I received a call from a recruiter about a local Physical Therapy opportunity (yes, that used to be my previous career). Initially, I thought it was a recording due to the tone of his voice, and my first reaction was to hang up. But I realized it was a real person, calling at 6 PM and still hard at work. 💪 The least I could do was listen. I explained that I no longer practice PT, and he thanked me for taking his call. ✨ As recruiters, we’re not here to hassle anyone—we’re here to connect people with opportunities they might not even be aware of. It could be life-changing call. So, hear us out and be kind. 😉 You never know what doors it might open!" ✨ Follow: Christy Russo 👷♀️ Follow: Tiello #recruiting #opportunity #careers #careergrowth #construction #manufacturing #tiello #buildingteamsfortomorrow

Recruiting is all about building relationships. Just like personal connections, some conversations may start strong but eventually taper off to brief texts, emails, or even silence—whether from candidates or prospects. 👻 So, what’s the lesson here? Follow your intuition. If it feels like communication has turned into a one-way street with you doing all the work, take note of the signs. Respect your time and focus on building genuine, long-lasting relationships. 🤝 Your productivity (and bottom line) will thank you for it. 📈 Follow: Ryan DeSmith Follow: Tiello #buildingrelationships #recruitment #partnerships

PSA: Not all recruiters suck. I get it, not all recruiters are made equally. The reality is that just like any other profession, there's the good, the bad, and the ugly. What's the takeaway? ➡ Use your best judgment when choosing to partner with a recruiter. ➡ Choose one who will advocate for you, whether you're on the job market or a hiring manager looking to make a critical hire. 🤝 Choose a recruiter who you connect with. 💯 Choose a recruiter who demonstrates clear industry knowledge. 💪 Choose a recruiter who goes above and beyond for you. 👥 Choose a recruiter who you can trust. One recruiter who may be an outstanding fit for you may be a terrible fit for another. ...and that's okay. Recruiters: There's no better feeling than when a candidate or client says you've changed their minds about the recruitment industry for the better. That's the good stuff. A big mistake I see recruiters make is (old me included) They are only focused on getting an Agreement in place Celebrating Agreements that lead to no business They get excited Have a "good conversation" Put together the agreement Send it out (still excited) Then... NOTHING.. crickets... Why? Because they didn't give the client a big enough reason to sign it. They were so caught up in getting a signature that they forgot the most critical parts: 👉 Finding out if the client actually has a real problem and doing a deep dive into their current recruitment operations 👉Showing the client the value and urgency of partnering with you 👉 Connecting the dots between their needs and your solution 👉 Setting up the expectations of next steps Without a compelling reason, the client has no reason to respond, nor should they. At Tiello we are specific about who we bring in as a client as: 1) We need to be sure we can deliver (Problem and Results-based thinking) 2) We value our own time - We don't work for free 3) We build partnerships > Transactions Remember, it's not about sending out an agreement—it's about solving a problem. Managing Partner @ Tiello II Building Teams for Tomorrow in the AEC Industry 🏗 I help Recruiters Bill More and Earn More 🚀

Our top 3 recruiters billed an average of $196,925 each in quarter 3.. Averaged 8 placements per person ($24,615 Average Placement Fee) Here are 3 things that they are doing really well to have this success.. 1. Nurturing Client Relationships: * Once a placement is made, go out to meet your clients. * Asking this question, "Is there anything we can do to improve our process?" * Asking this second question, "How many placements have you made with agencies this year? * Third question, "How can we be a resource to gain more work and have a win-win partnership?" 2. Sense of Urgency: * We follow a 96-hour rule when we have a tier 1 position. * 2-3 submissions within 96 hours. 3. Phone Time: * They spent more time on the phone than most of our recruiters. * Their first instinct is to call everyone. * They don't wait around and aren't afraid to pick up the phone. Recruiting sometimes comes back to the basics. Building good relationships with candidates/clients and doing the hard work. Follow: Dante N. Follow: Tiello #recruitment #sales #tiello #topbillers

Yesterday, I had one of those tough conversations with a Security Systems Technician going through the interview process for a job he REALLY wanted. The company chose another candidate with similar experience, the same salary expectations, but one key difference—the other candidate had a Low Voltage License, and my technician didn’t. I’ve had this conversation far too often. Many techs go years without getting their Low Voltage license because their employers didn’t require it. But when they look to move forward in their career, this becomes a roadblock. So here’s my advice to all the security systems and fire alarm techs out there: GET YOUR LICENSE. It can be the game-changer that sets you apart. 💰 Earn More – Licensed techs get the better paychecks, hands down. More credibility = more $$$. 🛠️ More Responsibility, More Respect – A license shows you’re serious about your craft. It’s a badge of expertise and professionalism. Don’t let a missed opportunity be the reminder. Get licensed, stay competitive, and level up your career! October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and this year I’m celebrating one year of being cancer-free! 🎀 At 31, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was a life-altering experience, especially as I was already facing other health challenges. But after undergoing treatment and staying strong, I’ve now been cancer-free for a year!! This journey has taught me the importance of early detection and the unwavering power of support. Breast cancer can happen at any age, and the earlier it’s caught, the better the outcome. That’s why I’m so passionate about raising awareness and encouraging everyone to get screened, no matter how busy life gets. (Because as all of us know, it can get REAL busy) To anyone going through this fight now, know that there’s light at the end of the tunnel. You’re not alone, and your strength is immeasurable. Let’s continue raising awareness, supporting research, and reminding each other of the importance of regular screenings. Early detection can save your life, just like it did mine. 🩷 #BreastCancerAwareness #OneYearCancerFree #EarlyDetectionSavesLives #GetScreened #StrongerTogether
