K-9 field trip alert! For today's #FridayFeature, we're sharing photos of K-9 Cooper at the fall OPCA (Oregon Police Canine Association) seminar, which was held outside of Bend recently. Teams from all over the state came together at the Mt. Bachelor Ski Resort, which Cooper loved! The seminar focused on the integration between K-9 and drone teams and how to best work together on calls. What a view! Did you know we launched a drone program a few years ago to help support police calls and investigations? Here is one of our officers, who is certified through the FAA, using one to help on a burglary call in a neighboring city a few days ago. We can help search for suspects with thermal imaging, send a drone into a potentially dangerous area to get eyes on a situation - we even used one recently to help map a fire at an apartment complex. Read more about our team and the regulations governing drones in law enforcement at our new drone team webpage: https://lnkd.in/g2nWubs8.

We're excited to share it with you soon!
