Tigerlily's mission is to educate, advocate, empower, and support young women throughout their breast cancer journey.
About us
Tigerlily Foundation’s mission is to educate, advocate for, empower, and support young women before, during, and after breast cancer. MISSION To educate, advocate for, empower, and support young women, before, during and after breast cancer. VISION We envision a future where breast cancer diagnosis doesn’t inspire fear, but ignites hope for a future because: We can inspire young women diagnosed with breast cancer to transform inside and out as they journey through treatment to live their best life going forward. We empower young women to be advocates for change Breast cancer will no longer be a terminal disease, but become a chronic disease that will someday be cured. Through our programs, we seek to educate and empower women of all backgrounds, including those at heightened risk, those facing health disparities, and those with less access to care. We strive to improve the quality of life and end isolation among breast cancer survivors. Most importantly, we encourage and endeavor to empower fearless females in every stage of their journey, and to show them that they are not or alone, but are beautiful, strong like the tiger and the lily, and that they can be transformed – during and after breast cancer.

A recent survey from the PAN Foundation highlights significant interest in clinical trials among historically underrepresented groups, with 61% expressing a desire to participate. However, many people of color and members of the LGBTQIA+ population have never been approached by their healthcare providers about clinical trials. This gap between interest and invitation can prevent patients from making informed decisions about their healthcare. To address this gap, our friends at PAN have launched a new clinical trial education initiative, empowering patients with clear, unbiased information about clinical trials. Visit the site to find easy-to-understand resources, and tools to locate trials near you, and a clinical trial help line offering one on one support: https://lnkd.in/d5-Dd3hN.

Our VP of Partnerships, Smita A., played an integral role on the planning committee for the Tigerlily Foundation emPOWER Ball! Her dedication to raising awareness about the importance of early breast cancer detection continues to inspire us. As we celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October, we’re reminded of how vital it is to empower women worldwide. With champions like Smita spreading the word, together, we are making strides toward a healthier future for all women! Let’s continue to #EmbraceAwareness and #EmpowerWomen! A special thanks to Aditi Hazra from our Advisory Boards, who also participated in this incredible event, and Maimah Karmo for championing women's health! Also present int his wonderful event.

Thank you to Bayer | Pharmaceuticals for supporting Tigerlily's #MYLIFEIsMyLgeacy video series and for their continued support this #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth!
#BreastCancer can manifest in many different forms. It is important to empower yourself with knowledge and talk to your doctor about screening options to ensure early detection. Listen to Brittney, a breast cancer patient, who first found a lump in her breast when she was only 18 years old. Brittney’s video is part of the #MyLifeMyLegacy series by Tigerlily Foundation, which was sponsored by the Radiology team of Bayer Pharmaceuticals. #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth #BayerInRadiology
