Our creativity makes it possible. Our experience makes it practical.
About us
In a field known for black-and-white thinking, Tighe & Bond focuses on bright ideas, green strategies, and clear solutions. Working with public and private organizations across the northeast, our engineering and environmental consulting projects demand creative, collaborative responses to complex questions. Four things combine to make us unique. First is our commitment to thoroughly understanding client needs, and through that understanding, help them succeed. Second is our deliberate regional focus on the northeastern United States. We like it that way, and frankly, so do our clients. Third is our position as a major firm in this dynamic region. We have very strong, full-service offerings staffed locally by people who live in these communities. And fourth is our ownership model. We’re owned by our employees, so we all feel truly invested in our clients’ success. We’re built this way on purpose. These four elements fuse together to assure outstanding client and project outcomes, and exciting opportunities for employees. Tighe & Bond’s talented engineers, planners, scientists, landscape architects and support staff do great work that benefits our clients, our communities and this entire region that we love.

We are excited to see Massachusetts invest in a climate-resilient future by restoring and upgrading culverts across the Commonwealth. Our team is assisting municipal partners with projects in Round 2 of Massachusetts Division of Ecological Restoration (MassDER)’s Culvert Replacement Municipal Assistance Grant. Once complete, these culvert restoration projects will improve water quality and ecological conditions, while reducing flood risks in the surrounding area. https://ow.ly/lM4x50TZJAr

The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection MassDEP has released Part 1 of its two-part study examining the future of #wastewater sludge management in the Commonwealth. Our firm led this residuals management study in collaboration with Brown and Caldwell through surveying publicly owned treatment works (POTWs) to examine current management practices and capacity, as well as identify potential challenges that could disrupt the management of this sludge. Part 1 of the study can be found on MassDEP’s website. Our project team is now working on Part 2 of the study, focusing on the impact of Per and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) on sludge management, developing recommendations for sludge and biosolids management and the reduction of #PFAS in wastewater sludge. https://ow.ly/8LN650TXBKB
