“We know of Til Valhalla Project, and we support what you all do.” - Delta We just got off a call with Delta, and I want to take a moment to address the recent situation involving a Veteran being asked to leave a Delta flight while wearing one of our t-shirts. This story caught fire quickly, and a lot of emotions came with it. Like many of you, I was frustrated when I first heard about it. But after speaking directly with Delta, I’ve learned that their side of the story is vastly different from what was initially reported. To be clear, they didn’t deny the incident entirely, but the details don’t line up with what we were all led to believe. They didn’t want to publicly call anyone out, and I can respect that—but at the end of the day, their silence left a lot of room for people to make their own assumptions, including me. Here’s the bottom line: there are two sides to every story, and we’re not here to play judge and jury. Delta, like any large company, isn’t perfect, but they also employ many Veterans and have been long-time supporters of the military community. One incident doesn’t define an entire organization or the people within it. That said, Delta should have spoken up sooner. The lack of communication has allowed things to spiral, and by the time they reached out, the damage was already done. In times like these, silence is the loudest—especially when it gives people room to assume the worst. And perception is often reality. I know some of you are angry and have suggested we respond in ways that could fuel the controversy. Let me be clear: that’s not what Til Valhalla Project is about. We’re here to Honor Fallen Heroes, support Veterans, and spread a message of respect. We’re not here to fan the flames or create division. On this incident? We remain neutral. We’re not taking sides. When I meet Catherine next week, I’ll shake her hand. And when I meet with Delta, I’ll shake their hand, too. I want to thank Delta for reaching out, for acknowledging the complexity of the situation, and for reminding us that they’re long-time supporters of Veterans and our mission. And I want to thank Catherine for bringing attention to our cause and for her dedication to serving Veterans. We all have the same goal here: to Honor those who have served and continue to serve. Let’s stay focused on that, and not get dragged into the weeds of controversy. Thank you for your continued support of Til Valhalla Project. Keep Moving Forward, Korey Shaffer Founder, Til Valhalla Project Proud USMC Veteran

We're proud to introduce our updated Do Not Give In Collection! Click here to check it out and help us spread this critical message: https://lnkd.in/e9848nHe This design has been in the media recently, but it's been an essential part of the T.V.P. mission for over 7 years. It was one of the first tees our founder Korey ever created. The design was dedicated in memory of his friend, Cpl. Benjamin Dunston, a fellow Marine Veteran who sadly lost the battle with his demons after returning home. Korey wishes he could have told Dunston the words on this tee but never got the chance. In his grief, Korey crafted a memorial plaque to Honor Dunston's memory—a gesture that ultimately sparked the T.V.P. mission. Since then, the Do Not Give In design has played a massive role in helping us donate over $1.3 million to reduce Veteran suicide and Honor 3,500+ Fallen Heroes with memorials surprise-delivered to their families. The phrase “Do not give in to the war within” means so much to Korey that he decided to use ”The War Within” as a chapter title in his new book, Legacy Mindset. We've extended the Do Not Give In design to everyday essentials like a Flight Tag, Silicone Bracelet, and Decal to give you as many ways as possible to spread awareness and make an impact.

An important message for the T.V.P. Family: Recently, I've noticed some companies are copying or creating their own versions of our "Do Not Give In" tee, likely trying to profit from the recent media attention. While spreading awareness is important, it's crucial to recognize the intentions behind these tees. I designed the original "Do Not Give In" tee not just to share a powerful message but also to fuel the T.V.P. mission—to fight Veteran suicide and ensure no Fallen Hero goes forgotten. Others may sell similar shirts, but they don't have the same purpose driving them. If you're considering purchasing a "Do Not Give In" tee from another source, I encourage you to pause and ask: What is their mission? By choosing the original, you're doing more than wearing a message—you're supporting a movement dedicated to changing lives. Please consider sharing this post to spread the word that not all "Do Not Give In" tees are created equal. Thank you for your unwavering support, and always keep moving forward. -Korey Shaffer Founder | Til Valhalla Project https://lnkd.in/gE2C-BQU

I have had the Honor and privilege of working for Til Valhalla Project for the past 18 months. Every single employee at T.V.P. takes pride in Honoring our Fallen Heroes. T.V.P. not only provides memorial plaques at no cost to the families of our Fallen Heroes, but hours of therapy for at risk veterans. The entire company was built on CEO, Korey Shaffer's best friend's suicide after his deployment to Afghanistan, and his commitment to keep his friends legacy alive. Veteran Suicide is a mental health epidemic, with more veterans dying since 9/11 from suicide than combat. Let's educate and continue the fight for our veterans and Honoring our Heroes. Show T.V.P. some love by reading our latest blog. #TilValhallaProject #VeteranSuicideAwareness #HonoringOurHeroes #DeltaAirlines Delta Air Lines
