About us

Founded in 1909 as a farmer-owned cooperative, Tillamook County Creamery Association (TCCA) recently achieved the distinction as a Certified B Corporation® (B Corp™) and prides itself on its commitment to bringing to market the most consistent, best tasting, highest quality dairy products made in the most natural way possible. Guided by the belief that everyone deserves real food that makes them feel good every day, Tillamook® produces internationally recognized, award-winning cheese as well as exceptional ice cream, butter, cream cheese spreads, yogurt and sour cream, made with unwavering values that never sacrifice or compromise quality for profit. TCCA operates production facilities in Tillamook and Boardman, Oregon and employs more than 900 people throughout the state. Updates

  • TCCA is entering our second season as the jersey sponsor for the Portland Timbers MLS soccer team, and we’re cheesin’ over our partnership with this iconic Oregon sports team.   We kicked off the season by co-hosting the Unofficial, Official Watch Party at 10 Barrel Brewing Company PDX for the Timbers' first away match on March 8th. Timbers fans got the first taste of the match day menu items featuring Tillamook products you know and love. And in addition to the game day bites, fans enjoyed striking a pose in our photo booth and walking away with some juicy raffle prizes. There was even a Timbers soccer ball carved out of a 40-lb block of Tillamook Medium Cheddar.   If you’re local to PDX, you can enjoy the same $4 Match Day Menu at 10 Barrel’s Portland pub all season long.

  • In honor of Women’s History Month, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the many talented women at Tillamook who help keep our co-op and culture strong.  The women at TCCA wear many professional hats, including scientist, veterinarian, plant director, marketer, packaging supervisor, engineer, category growth leader, retail manager, in addition to their roles as friends, leaders, mothers and so many more. These women deserve to be celebrated today, tomorrow and every day. To help commemorate International Women’s Day, team members across our sites took time to recognize women in their lives by sending postcards to colleagues, friends and mentors who have made a difference. Fostering inclusion is embedded in our culture, and we’re proud to create opportunities to celebrate the women at here at TCCA and beyond.

  • Happy National Ag Day! As a farmer-owned co-op, farmers are at the heart of everything we do. We’ve been farmer-owned since 1909, and since then, every challenge and triumph has shaped us into who we are today. Despite the unpredictability of farming, our farmers remain a resilient and critical part of our food system. Join us in thanking farmers around the country who work around the clock to keep our families fed.

  • March is B Corp Month! At TCCA, our status as a Certified B Corp represents our dedication to our Six Stewardship Commitments, which are at the heart of everything we do: being good stewards of cows and farms, of people and products, of our communities and the environment. And we're in good company!     In celebration of B Corp Month, we're partnering with fellow Oregon B Corps who share our belief in delivering quality products and using business as a force for good. See what better business tastes like all month long at the Tillamook Creamery visitors center as we host free sampling events with Hopworks Brewery, Stoller Wine Group, Stumptown Coffee Roasters and Union Wine Company.

  • Tillamook team members in Boardman served up grilled cheese sandwiches for the Blue Mountain FFA District Convention, a regional agricultural event where students showcase skills that prepare them for future career opportunities. The Tillamook team served sandwiches to fuel the nearly 130 participants from various school districts in the surrounding area. Tillamook's commitment to agricultural advocacy includes supporting youth in agriculture programs like local FFA groups. Our long-standing partnerships include community engagements, event sponsorships and agricultural education support.

  • The Tillamook Creamery Student Work Study Program provides an enriching opportunity to help local students in Tillamook develop career skills and gain valuable work experience. The program offers students full-time employment at the Tillamook Creamery visitors center while they pursue a degree at Tillamook Bay Community College.  Brittany Simmons, Tillamook Creamery General Manager, who oversees the Work Study Program, says: “Through our work study program, students gain diverse practical skills to inform their studies through experience at Tillamook Creamery visitors center while TCCA covers two years of tuition and books at Tillamook Bay Community College. This program not only helps shape their future but also aligns with our value of Genuine Care by offering tuition, textbooks and a laptop. We truly believe in giving back to our community and fostering the growth of our youth.”

  • 'Twas the week of the holidays, and all through the towns, our teams were spreading cheer, with cheesing all around. In Portland, a craft bazaar with handmade gifts, Boardman had a potluck (or two), and will have tamales for every holiday shift. Tillamook exchanged cookies, much more than they could eat, Decatur shared a meal, both quite the festive feast.    Happy holidays from TCCA to you!🎄✨

  • Our team in Tillamook partnered up with the Tillamook Fire Department Toy Drive and other local organizations to bring holiday giving to families in our community. We raised $8,200 for gifts, food baskets and animal shelter supplies in addition to the collected toy donations gifted by our employees. The Tillamook Fire team filled their trucks with the gifts in hopes of filling the hearts of Tillamook families with holiday cheer. 🌟🎁
