Have you ever stood in a room full of industry giants, feeling like the smallest startup (or person) in the crowd?
Two years ago at the inaugural TLTF Summit in Miami, that was me—nervous, a bit intimidated, and questioning if Skribe.ai would ever take off. At that time, we hadn't even launched a product! We were there to network and share Skribe's vision of changing how the world captures, analyzes, and shares legal testimony.
Today, I'm excited to share how we turned those doubts into a driving force for innovation.
I vividly remember going for a run around Miami, contemplating what the future held for Skribe. Like many entrepreneurs, I've faced ups and downs and moments of doubt. But what stood out was the incredible support from the legal tech community. Everyone I met at the 2022 Summit was welcoming, eager to listen, and shared the same goal: leveraging technology to make the practice of law more efficient, effective, and accessible.
Today, almost two years later, I'm thrilled to announce that The LegalTech Fund has invested in Skribe, a startup I co-founded with Tom Irby! More details:

Thanks to the amazing team at The LegalTech Fund for their support and vote of confidence!
Skribe is redefining how legal testimony is captured, analyzed, and shared. We're eliminating inefficiencies in the traditional court reporting model, making legal workflows faster and more cost-effective.
🔹 Less than half the price of traditional deposition services
🔹 10x faster, with same-day video record + final transcript within 1 week
🔹 3x the features, offering powerful tools to analyze video testimony
By lowering costs and speeding up the deposition process, we're improving access to justice.
I'm also grateful to the amazing people I met at the Summit in 2022 who were so welcoming and supportive. Their willingness to share insights truly showcased how fantastic the LegalTech community is. Special thanks to:
Zach Posner (TLTF), Nathaniel Schorr (TLTF), Phil Rosenthal (Fastcase), Eric Voogt (Proof), Dorothee Grant (Kaveat), Dean Shapero (FlyTech), Philipp Thurner (Nexl), Alex Baker, Jake Stein (Common Paper ), Matt Rasmussen (ModeOne Technologies), Judge Scott Schlegel, Olga V. Mack, Danae Shell (Valla), Kathy M. Zhu (Streamline AI), Charles Brecque, Cary Burch, Ola Baklid and Erik Baklid (Bryce Catalyst), William (Bill) Mills (LexisNexis), Jennifer Sherman (CARET Legal), Patrick Rogers (Clara), Susan Cunningham (vLex), and others I am likely forgetting to list!
Tom Irby and I are excited to attend the 2024 TLTF Summit, and this time, proud to say Skribe.ai is now one of The LegalTech Fund's portfolio companies!
Thank you to everyone who has been part of the Skribe.ai journey, including our amazing customers, investors, family and friends. We're just getting started! 🚀
