We are excited to launch the Tennessee Department of Health (TDH) Ambassador Program, a new initiative aimed at strengthening our partnerships with academic institutions to prepare future public health professionals for their careers while also building a network of high-performing individuals to represent TDH at career fairs and beyond. Our inaugural group of TDH Ambassadors recently completed an intensive three-day training, where they gained skills in communication, branding, recruitment strategy, and more—ensuring they are well-prepared to share the incredible career opportunities available in public health. These ambassadors are now ready to represent TDH both in and out of the classroom, increasing awareness of public health careers and inspiring the next generation of public health professionals.
