    So excited for our Male Mental Health panel, part of the Token Man Panel series, on Monday 15th May at 1600 BST. The panel, which includes Alex McClintock, Alex Holmes and Anna Davies, will explore the challenges currently facing men, the barriers to getting support and the key solutions for helping men to achieve good mental health.     OUR MASCULINITY IN THE WORKPLACE REPORT IS NOW LIVE In the lead-up to International Women’s Day, I am delighted to release our latest Masculinity in the Workplace report (https://lnkd.in/dcnKFMDb), produced in collaboration with The Hobbs Consultancy. This is the 5th year of the report, designed to recognise that workplaces in the UK are still predominantly masculine, and, until we address this, they will never be fully inclusive. This year, the report focused on how inclusive and diverse workplaces are in the UK, what leadership traits are currently rewarded in the workplace (i.e. are they predominantly traditional masculine traits?), how many men are currently considered active allies and what that allyship looks like. The four key findings in the report are as follows: 1. There is still a long way to go when it comes to creating inclusive and diverse workplaces. 2. Parents feel exclusion far more than those with no children. 3. Vulnerability is still not being rewarded or valued. 4. We still need to recruit far more men as allies, but we now have a much better understanding of the key barriers. I am sure that none of these will be a surprise, although some of the data around parents was fascinating. The aim of the research is to provide more insight into what more you can be doing to engage men with inclusion, equity, and diversity and we hope this report will do that. In particular we have included examples of how you can implement our SUPPORT-INSPIRE-RECRUIT model for better engaging men. We would love to hear your thoughts on the report in the comments below.
