The Salvation Army recently utilized the Port’s Community Economic Development Initiative (CEDI) program to assist with building improvements and equipment upgrades to their building located at 620 N. Erie St. Upgrades include the installation of handicapped door actuators, an electrical system upgrade to operate the entry doors, as well as concrete leveling, LED lighting, flooring, and ceiling tiles. DiSalle Government Center, ParkSmart, Toledo Express Airport and Toledo Executive Airport. Congratulations to TLCPA's Dana Clark on Winning the Rookie of the Year Award during the Ohio Economic Development Association’s (OEDA) 2024 Annual Summit! The Port Authority was proud to welcome OEDA to Toledo as it hosted its annual summit at the Glass City Center from September 4-6. The Summit had been hosted in the Columbus area annually since its inception over 40 years ago, and this was the first year the event moved to another location outside of Central Ohio. As Vice President of Business Development for the Port Authority, Joe is responsible for working with the Port Authority’s existing and potential business partners in developing and expanding business opportunities in the Toledo Region, as well as being involved in other various administration, transportation, marketing, development, and environmental matters. Joe also serves on the TMACOG Board of Trustees and is on the Editorial Advisory Board of the Great Lakes/Seaway Review Magazine. Joe also represents Toledo as the Chair of the AAPA Economic Development Committee and the Ohio Freight Advisory Committee for Ohio Department of Transportation.
