Introducing the Ultra-Tool 313CF Series: 3 Flute Coolant Fed Rougher for Aluminum Are you looking to maximize your aluminum machining efficiency and performance? Look no further! The new Ultra-Tool 313CF Series is now in stock and ready to deliver unbeatable performance. Here’s why this is the tool you need for your next job. Coolant Fed Design: Featuring a central coolant hole, this endmill maximizes coolant flow, ensuring cooler operation and extended tool life even in the most demanding applications. Optimized Geometry: With a custom gash geometry, the 313CF allows for increased ramp angles, making it ideal for high-speed roughing and more aggressive cutting strategies. Superior Chip Control: The open flute design improves chip evacuation, resulting in better chip flow and reduced load on the tool, allowing you to maintain high feeds and speeds with ease. Friction Reduction: Polished flutes minimize friction, significantly reducing the heat generated during machining and contributing to longer tool life. Reduced Power Consumption: With its integrated chip breaker, this tool lowers the horsepower requirements, making it perfect for high-volume production environments where efficiency is key. Stable Cutting Action: The full radial land stabilizes the cut, ensuring smooth performance even in the most aggressive conditions. Minimized Vibration: The variable helix design helps to dampen vibrations, resulting in a quieter, more stable cutting process that delivers superior surface finishes.

15 years goes fast.
15 years ago today, while running lights-out overnight during the Great Recession, we lost our HQ and main factory building to a devastating fire. While I wouldn't typically post about a topic that carries any negative aura regarding the business (and I'd certainly like to forget the entire event), I'm super proud and appreciative of our Associates (most still with us from 2009) that rebuilt and built-up since that time so that we're now the best Tool Alliance® ever. The help of many industry friends was also instrumental to our recovery, and probably none more so than Rollomatic Inc. and Eric Schwarzenbach, who got us up and running on new equipment within days. Since that loss fifteen years ago, we have modernized that building and our two other factories in Huntington Beach, CA, and are now prepared to break ground on a factory expansion in Fort Myers, FL. As we've always said at Tool Alliance, "Ready, Set, Cut!™" (2009 pictures, before & after)

We are pleased to announce that Tool Alliance has acquired certain assets of Diemond Tool Grinding, the most important piece being that of Pete McKane, who will become our new Florida Sales Engineer. Pete has over 46 years of industry experience, including more than 20 years as owner of Diemond Tool Grinding, and has a long history and knowledge of selling Tool Alliance products (primarily Mil-Tec). Pete’s new full-time focus will be on reaching end users, keeping our brands engaged at current accounts, and bringing our full product portfolio to a totally new array of accounts. Importantly, Pete was also a Gebr. SAACKE GmbH & Co. KG and Numrotoplus NUM AG customer, and his UWIF will be placed in our Florida factory. His grinding knowledge (and particularly that of Numrotoplus programming) will prove critical to communicating to customers the vast amount of technology that our products bring to market. This grinder adds to our industry-leading (North America) count of Numroto software seats. Pete will report to Mark Wortsman. Florida is our home market and poised for continued growth, so we’re thrilled for Pete to be able to focus 100% on sales and leave the grinding to our staff of professionals in Fort Myers. Pete can be reached at pete@toolalliance.com.

Mia Yeo has been interning at Tool Alliance® this summer and has demonstrated exceptional engineering skills. It's important to invest time in teaching the next generation, as it helps us slow down and reflect on how we learned our profession. Mia has focused on Cad Design but had an interest for welding. We were welding some tubes so we let her have a go. Pretty stable for the first time using a mig welder. #firstweld #millermatic #aerospaceengineer
