Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library – sparking curiosity and connecting our community through literacy and learning. This 21st-century, four-star rated landmark library was named the Library Journal/Gale Cengage 2016 Library of the Year for demonstrating creativity, innovation, leadership and outstanding services to its community. We serve a community of nearly 180,000 from one iconic building and features the Alice C. Sabatini Art Gallery, the Millennium Café, the Chandler Booktique, and conference-quality meeting rooms. It is a community gathering place with free WiFi and computers, programs, classes, and cultural events.
