Every year, 2.8 million Americans are impacted by a traumatic brain injury (TBI), including a disproportionate number of children. Despite the frequency of TBIs, there’s a significant gap in knowledge, resources, funding, and care. Toyota’s Way Forward Fund brings together and supports the people and organizations working towards the best care for children and families. During a span of two days and three sessions this summer, more than sixteen grantees and fifty attendees shared resources and best practices. Connecting experts, organizations, new treatments, digital tools, and other emerging technology, all with the goal of bridging critical gaps in pediatric care. No one person has all the answers, but working together we can make a difference. #Toyota4Good #LifeatToyota

Toyota Alabama officially assembled its 10-millionth engine, an i-Force MAX 2.4-liter, to power an all-new hybrid Tacoma. The engine plant, which first broke ground in 2001, assembles a third of all Toyota engines in North America. “We are thrilled to celebrate this milestone and look forward to seeing where the next 10 million engines will take us,” said Jason Puckett, president of Toyota Alabama. “I feel a great sense of pride knowing our 2,000 team members are powering the heart of some of the most popular, reliable and safest vehicles on the road.” (Fun Fact: Toyota Alabama’s 2,000 team members assemble upwards of 777,000 engines a year!) #LifeatToyota #StartYourImpossible

At Toyota, we’re committed to shaping the future by investing in our communities. 🚸 Through our Driving Possibilities initiative, we recently funded a new STEM-based playground at Princeton Community Primary School in Indiana. This innovative space is designed to inspire curiosity and foster a love of learning in Pre-K and kindergarten students. By turning play into a powerful educational experience, we’re helping to prepare our youngest learners for the challenges and opportunities of tomorrow. This project is just the beginning, as we continue to support programs that empower our youth and build a brighter future. #DrivingPossibilities #ToyotaCares #STEM
