  • TRD hosted two drivers from Japan, Kazu Urabe (19) and Yuki Sano (17), for a two-week driver development camp in collaboration with Toyota Gazoo Racing. Both drivers currently compete full-time in the F4 Japanese Championship as participants of the Toyota Gazoo Racing - Driver Challenge (TGR-DC).   The camp immersed both drivers in the various race vehicles and training programs typical of a TRD development driver, while also giving them the opportunity to experience American culture. During their stay, the drivers competed in the GR Cup event at Road America, tested a pro late model at Tri-County Speedway and tested a winged micro at Millbridge Speedway. While off the track, they got to experience our rigorous Toyota Performance Center driver training program with our team of expert instructors who put them through several assessments and educational sessions. The camp was a great success, offering invaluable experience to both drivers as they continue to develop their racing careers. We wish Kazu and Yuki the best of luck in their future racing endeavors! 🏆🔥🏁 #TeamToyota #ToyotaGazooRacing #GRCup
