Tract CEO, Grant van Rooyen, joined Josh Lipton and Julie Hyman on the Yahoo Finance segment Market Domination Overtime to discuss how Tract has positioned itself to address the digital infrastructure needs of hyperscalers. van Rooyen explained that Tract is addressing the data center crisis by handling "all of the complicated and hard to do parts of infrastructure." Tract's strategy includes locating suitable campuses for data centers, ensuring sites have access to appropriate infrastructure and energy sources, and preparing these sites so that customers, Hyperscalers in particular, can "move with speed and certainty and come in and deploy their data centers and be able to respond to the demand signals that they're seeing for their services," For the full interview, click here: https://lnkd.in/gaqEkCRg

Tract’s CEO, Grant van Rooyen, is featured on the s2gpodcast, “Closing the Loop on Clean Energy”, discussing the need for a systemwide shift in the data center industry as we look to solve the critical energy challenges in front of us. Listen to the full episode here: https://lnkd.in/ewFYJ8En
The rapid growth of reshored manufacturing, AI data centers, industrial decarbonization technologies, and electric vehicles are driving unprecedented demand for electricity. While the renewable energy sector has grown tremendously, developing the capacity to meet increased energy demand will face numerous challenges. In our next episode of the #S2GPodcast, Ernest J. Moniz, Grant van Rooyen, and Ben Pratt join S2G's Francis O'Sullivan for a detailed conversation on the clean energy transition. They discuss the broader systemwide needs to fully “close the loop” on clean energy spanning from generation, transmission, and interconnection, to PPA structuring, asset positioning, and beyond.
