I love working with Mallory and Lynda at VT's Newport New Center. And the James City County employees are a great group - we had so much fun exploring ways to work across difference!

During my workshop yesterday, a participant approached me during the break to tell me they disagreed with what I said... during our conversation we quickly realized that we actually agreed and what I said could have been misinterpreted in the wrong way. After the break, I returned to that section in the workshop to rephrase and clarify. Thank you to the participant who was willing to speak up! And I'm grateful that I was willing to listen and take constructive feedback.
