Should you offer interactive experiences at your next trade show? 🤔 As soon as you walk into a trade show you will be greeted by a sea of interactive experiences from VR to photo booths. The last thing you want for your brand is to get lost amongst the chaos, so having your own interactive element really is a must. Checkout our list below for some inspiration on how to wow the crowd at your next show! 🎮 Gamify your booth! This is one of the easiest ways to add a wow factor to your display as there are hundreds of ways to gamify your booth at a trade show. Whether you decide on a themed trivia quiz, a spinning prize wheel or a fun challenge, your customers will be delighted to get involved! 📸 Say cheese with a photo booth! Adding a branded photo wall won't only have the crowd lining up to snap a picture, you will also boost your chances of additional brand exposure. Ensure the image on the wall will be of interest to your target audience and offer fun props to encourage use. 📢 Show off with a product demonstration! Whether you have a physical product you can demonstrate right on the spot or have engaging videos showcasing your excellent services, this is a great way to add a more interactive element to your booth and spark interest at your next event.

Planning a trade show for the first time can be overwhelming. It’s a big investment to make so you want to make sure it’s worth it. To make things a little easier, we’ve curated a pre-trade show checklist to keep you on track and make sure you’ve thought of everything! 📅 📈 1. Choose the right show! ✔ This may sound obvious, but one of the most expensive mistakes you can make is choosing the wrong event to exhibit at. It could be the biggest show of the year, but if your client base isn’t there it’s going to mean nothing. Do your research and choose the most relevant trade show for you and your industry. 2. Set your budget and goals 📊 Before you get into the heavy planning, you will need to set a budget and decide on your goals. This will make the rest of the planning process much easier and help keep you on track. 3. Staff and accommodation 🏢 One of the most important resources you’ll have at your show is your staff. Choose who you want there and get flights & accommodation booked early. Remember, you won’t be the only one attending the trade show, so planning in advance will help you avoid issues down the line. 4. Electricity & furniture ⚡ Something you may have not even thought about is having to rent electricity from your show. It can be expensive, but it’s definitely necessary. You may also want to rent some furniture like tables, chairs and maybe even a monitor from your show to cut down on purchasing costs. 5. Purchase your booth set up 💰 Your booth will be what makes or breaks your show, so this is not where you want to save money. There are tons of booth options to suit any budget, so there’s no excuses for a wrinkled tarp! 6. Promotional items 📑 Another thing you won’t want to forget about is any promotional items you might need. Get your flyers printed, decide if you want any branded merchandise and make sure you have up to date business cards! 7. Shipping 📦 The final thing you won’t want to forget is getting everything to and from your event. Organize this in advance and ensure you have your dates right, you don’t want to be standing at a show with no booth.
