Virginia leads the nation in student referrals to the criminal justice system, disproportionately affecting Black, Latino, and special-needs students. This alarming trend highlights the urgent need for reform in our educational policies. Transformative Changes is at the forefront of advocating for restorative justice, which emphasizes empowerment over punishment. We invite professionals and community leaders to join us at the Communities in Schools Summit to explore innovative strategies for creating a healing-centered environment in schools and beyond. Together, we can dismantle the school-to-prison pipeline and foster a supportive landscape for all youth. #RestorativeJustice #YouthEmpowerment #SchoolReform #CommunityLeadership #SocialJustice https://lnkd.in/eDZrZGnT
