Community Health Workers (CHWs) have a collective voice that needs to be heard! We are co-hosting a town hall with the Institute for Public Health Innovation and the Regional CHW Coalitions on November 7 from 12 pm - 2 pm to report the CHW Listening Session themes, brainstorm solutions to address the needs of CHWs, and connect with allies working to amplify the aspirations of CHWs.

Virginia leads the nation in student referrals to the criminal justice system, disproportionately affecting Black, Latino, and special-needs students. This alarming trend highlights the urgent need for reform in our educational policies. Transformative Changes is at the forefront of advocating for restorative justice, which emphasizes empowerment over punishment. We invite professionals and community leaders to join us at the Communities in Schools Summit to explore innovative strategies for creating a healing-centered environment in schools and beyond.
