Thank you to the nearly 600 people who signed our Boylston Street bus lane Action Alert! Unfortunately, the City of Boston has still decided to remove the bus lane. We remain committed to preserving, expanding, and installing bus-priority infrastructure: https://lnkd.in/evbw5QQq

Thank you, Transit, for adding our Action Alert to trips on the 9, 39, and 55! Riders on these routes will get a pop-up with our Action Alert after answering the rate-my-ride questions. Don't worry; if you haven't responded to our Action Alert yet, you can also do so here: https://lnkd.in/eVAFxhnU
We’re helping Boston riders take action and get the Wu train back on the right track! 🛤️💪 The mayor backtracked on Boylston Street’s Better Bike and Bus Lane, and bike lanes are now under review citywide. Bostonians deserve safe and efficient commutes — and campaigns from TransitMatters and LivableStreets Alliance are live in the app right now, so city residents can speak up! 🗣️

“It’s important to remember who is really being affected. A lot of these riders are transit-dependent and/or low-income. And the process that led up to this decision was talking to Back Bay residents and leaders.” Our Interim Executive Director, Katie Calandriello, spoke with GBH yesterday about the removal of the Boylston Street bus lane: https://lnkd.in/eWAFepJH
-
"It should be the goal of the City to advance transit-priority infrastructure for public transportation-dependent populations—not remove it." – 38% of 39 riders, 72% of 10 riders, and 61% of 9 riders are low-income. – 40% of 39 riders have no access to a car.
