About us
Transport Services was established in 1976 as a sales-only semi-trailer dealer. We added a Parts Division and Service Division in the early 80’s to meet the maintenance and repair needs of our customers. The current headquarters, located in Cleveland, Ohio, sits on more than 30 acres and includes 18 service bays and a 10,000 square-foot parts warehouse. In 2018, we added a second location through the acquisition of Columbus-based Tra-Serv, a tractor and trailer service and repair shop founded in 1978. We immediately transitioned this location into a full-service trailer dealership that offers new and used trailer sales and rental/leasing, a parts warehouse, and a full body shop that includes 11 services bays and a state-of- the-art paint booth. Today, Transport Services is the largest Hyundai Translead dealer in Ohio, with full-service dealerships in Columbus and Cleveland and a rental fleet of over 2,000 trailers. We are committed to being an integral part of our customer's success by providing outstanding customer service, technical knowledge, experience and commitment to any and all of their transportation equipment needs. Our company’s success is built on the skills and efforts and continued development of each company employee.

Ray Erne has been promoted to Corporate Project Manager! Ray joined Transport Services 13 years ago and has been the Cleveland Service Manager for 12 years. Ray will be responsible for corporate projects that impact both our Cleveland and Columbus locations, as well as our soon to open Toledo location. He has a wealth of knowledge about our business and industry, especially in our Service division. His experience, work ethic and problem-solving skills affirm Ray as the right candidate for this newly created role and we are excited to see the continuous improvement solutions he implements and synergies he delivers.
