In this role, you will conduct in-depth historic research and analysis on the December 7, 1941 attack on O'ahu, WWII in the Pacific, and the memorials dedicated to the USS Arizona, Utah, and Oklahoma. You will also prepare important compliance documents for preservation and environmental policies, as well as organize and manage archives, photographs, and research materials. As a historian, you'll have the opportunity to design and conduct oral history research, producing valuable transcriptions that contribute to the nation's historical record. Additionally, you’ll provide public interpretive programs to educate visitors on the pivotal events of WWII in the Pacific.
