The Treasure Coast Hospice team that cares for patients at assisted and skilled nursing residences in St. Lucie County is one of our larger clinical teams. Happy National Hispanic Heritage Month! National Hispanic Heritage Month runs annually from September 15 through October 15. The month-long celebration recognizes the rich culture and contributions of Hispanic Americans. Among the many Hispanic Americans who have been pioneers in healthcare, we would like to recognize Antonia Novello, M.D. Dr. Novello was the first woman and first Hispanic to serve as Surgeon General of the United States.
