About us
Treasure Coast Hospice is a non-profit community organization of skilled professionals and dedicated volunteers whose mission is to provide access to compassionate, caring, expert and professional hospice and grief support services to patients and families at the end of life. Founded in 1982, Treasure Coast Hospice has grown to serve more than 4,000 patients annually in Martin, St. Lucie and Okeechobee counties. Happy National Hispanic Heritage Month! National Hispanic Heritage Month runs annually from September 15 through October 15. The month-long celebration recognizes the rich culture and contributions of Hispanic Americans. Among the many Hispanic Americans who have been pioneers in healthcare, we would like to recognize Antonia Novello, M.D. Dr. Novello was the first woman and first Hispanic to serve as Surgeon General of the United States. She held the position from 1990 to 1993. Learn more about Dr. Novello: https://lnkd.in/gyQGbyZ
