Originally opened in 1915, our Wayland, Michigan, facility was built by the Helvetia Milk Condensing Company. The Helvetia Milk Condensing Company employed approximately 20 people and produced evaporated milk. Various entities owned the facility before it was acquired by TreeHouse Foods in 2005. Over the years, the facility has made a variety of products, including dried eggs, ice cream milk, Instant Breakfast and Heartland Puffed Cereal. We currently produce non-dairy creamer at the facility. Our Wayland facility is also connected to the local community. In May, the plant quickly stepped in with donations after a tornado hit a nearby town, donating supplies to help those who were impacted. “Tornadoes don’t occur in Michigan very often, so we knew we had to do something to help,” said Meaghan Newton, HR Manager for the Wayland plant. “Fortunately, we only had a few employees with residences in Portage, and they only had minor damage to their homes. Sadly, it affected hundreds of others and destroyed many homes and businesses completely.” The Wayland facility is a wonderful demonstration of our #BetterTogether value. It’s an integral part of the community and an important part of the TreeHouse Foods family! #TreeHouseFoods #EngageAndDelight

In 2023, TreeHouse Foods donated approximately $12 million in food to aid those in need and to support food accessibility. But, our efforts don’t stop there! We have a company-wide goal to donate $50 million in volunteer time, food, and/or cash to community organizations focused on alleviating food insecurity, by 2030. Our newly released Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Report details some of our past efforts and plans for the future. For example, last year we donated 20,000 pounds of refrigerated dough, creamer, broth and cold brew samples to the MLK, Jr. Community Center and the City of Dallas. This was enough to help more than 300 families and individuals facing food insecurity. Additionally, TreeHouse Foods has committed to donating 5% of annual net sales of the Lofthouse Pink Ribbon Sugar Cookies for the continued fight against breast cancer. In 2023, we donated over $16,000 to Susan G. Komen, a nonprofit organization that funds research and advocates for breast cancer patients and survivors. Reaching these goals would not be possible without our dedicated employees. These efforts demonstrate how we are truly #BetterTogether. TreeHouse Foods has five Employee Resource Groups that provide employees with additional avenues to grow, find fulfillment and be inspired.  These employee-led groups focus on creating an inclusive environment and building communities among people with shared identities and experiences. One of those groups is the Free To Be Me LGBTQIA+ Resource Group. Free To Be Me hosts monthly coffee conversations and a variety of events throughout the year. The group’s biggest event of the year is attending the Chicago Pride Parade, which brings together members of the ERG, their families, and friends. In addition to the Free To Be Me Resource Group, TreeHouse Foods has the Black Employee Resource Group, Emerging Professionals Resource Group, Women @ TreeHouse Resource Group and Parent and Caregiver Network Group. #TreeHouseFoods #BetterTogether #EngageAndDelight

Our Forest Park, Georgia, facility began producing biscuits more than 55 years ago! It opened in 1967 and transitioned through several owners before joining TreeHouse Foods. One employee who has witnessed the evolution of the facility is Brian Hayes. He’s worked at the facility for 30 years. His career journey started on the floor as an operator; now, he’s a production manager!  “We’ve had two employees retire in the past 12 months that had worked here for 50 years,” said Hayes. “I have a supervisor that has been here 44 years!” We’re proud of the long tenures so many of our Forest Park team members have enjoyed with our company. This facility’s rich history and dedicated employees are great examples of how we are #BetterTogether! #TreeHouseFoods #EngageAndDelight
