  • A little after-hours team bonding with the 80,000-year-old Tsuchinshan-ATLAS comet.

Little-known fact: my teammate Cassidy Moorefield is a total astronomer! We got to hang out with his family last night while they showed us the best place to view the comet, complete with telescope and binoculars. These are totally unedited photos. My theme for 2024 is Lean Back. As I mapped out my theme back in January, one of the specific visions I journaled about was to lean back and look up at the stars. There is a unique kind of awe I only experience when I get out of the city lights and gaze up at the night sky. Really grateful to experience something that won't appear again for 80,000 years! "For the heavens declare the glory of God."

  • When interviewing for an executive+ level role, your job is to sell yourself as a valuable asset to the organization. Here are 3 sales pitches you need to nail: 1. Sell Your Results. Quantify your achievements. What specific metrics did you improve? By how much? Demonstrate your ability to replicate success. Can you share examples of similar challenges you've overcome in previous roles? 2. Sell Your Leadership. Paint a picture of what it's like to work for you. What's your leadership style? How do you motivate and inspire your team? Highlight your ability to foster a positive and productive work environment. 3. Sell Your Self. Align your personal values with the company's mission. How do your beliefs and priorities complement the organization's goals? Showcase your cultural fit. How do you see yourself contributing to the company's culture and values? Master these pitches, and you'll be well-equipped to clearly articulate the unique value you can bring to an organization. What are your biggest challenges when interviewing for executive roles? ______________________ Want to learn more about how to ace your next executive interview? Connect with a coach today! #career #interview #hiring #coaching #leadership #executive #values #business #development #chickfila #lifecoaching #careercoaching #executivecoaching #careerdevelopment

  • Let's talk about it! Do you strive to be reliable or available?

Catalyzing Growth and Success Through Leadership Coaching | Empowering Individuals and Teams to Reach Their Full Potential 🌟

Reliable doesn't mean available. We often equate being reliable with being constantly available. But let's take a moment to rethink that. Being reliable is about following through on your commitments, showing up when you say you will. It's a cornerstone of trust and respect. However, spreading yourself too thin can actually hinder your ability to be reliable. When we're constantly dropping everything for others, it's easy to let our own commitments slip. It's like trying to fill too many cups; something's bound to overflow. Let's strive for balance. It's okay to set boundaries and prioritize your own well-being. By taking care of ourselves, we're actually better equipped to support others. Remember, you can't pour from an empty cup. Let’s find that sweet spot where we can be both reliable and kind to ourselves. __________ #worklifebalance #productivity #priorities #selfcare #mentalhealth

Catalyzing Growth and Success Through Leadership Coaching | Empowering Individuals and Teams to Reach Their Full Potential 🌟

The number one question I get asked in interview coaching? Hands down, it's "How do I talk about my weaknesses?" Your weaknesses aren't liabilities; they're opportunities to shine in 3 ways: Your weaknesses should: 💫 Acknowledge your humanity. We all have areas where we can improve. Recognizing your weaknesses is a sign of strength, not weakness. 💫 Show self-awareness. A self-aware leader is an effective leader. Show that you understand where your blind spots are. 💫 Instill confidence that you’re doing something about it. Telling me that you struggle to fire people is a red flag. Telling me that you have a system in place to ensure you don't hang on to toxic team members tells a better story. When you acknowledge your areas for growth, demonstrate self-awareness, and clearly outline your action plan, you build trust and credibility. Want to learn how to turn weaknesses into strengths? Let’s connect! _______ #interviewtips #careercoaching #leadership #lifecoaching #careercoaching #leadershipcoaching #strengths #weakness #blindspots #communication #interview

  • Trevero Coach Becca Askew on setting goals and being intentional in the small things. Great read!

Catalyzing Growth and Success Through Leadership Coaching | Empowering Individuals and Teams to Reach Their Full Potential 🌟

Starting August strong with a monthly check-in. A few years ago, I stopped focusing on annual goals and started setting smaller goals throughout the year to see my progress and pivot where I need to. This is how I stay motivated - by getting those “quick wins” that build momentum over time. And dgives me the flexibility to change course as life inevitably demands! One of today’s goals for August is simple: I took a fresh look at my morning and evening routines and added some priorities that have fallen to the wayside. I added stretching to my evening routine (my CrossFit muscles will thank me!), and I removed a lot of my morning tasks to create mental space to start the day. I learn a lot about myself through regular reflection, and I’m convinced that these consistent incremental changes are incredibly powerful over time. What strategies do you use to reflect and refocus?
