During Respiratory Care Week, we would like to honor Respiratory Care Supervisor Ron Clark. He is the Respiratory Care Team’s Adult Intensive Care Unit (AICU) Critical Care Specialist and the 'go-to' person for respiratory care and advice for many here at TCMC. For the past 28 years, Ron has provided outstanding clinical support and training to our respiratory therapists and nurses in both the Pulmonary Department as well as throughout our hospital. At the end of this year, Ron will retire. And his TCMC family will greatly miss him. We wish you all the best, Ron!

Meet Bernadette & Dean Rosete. Both RNs. A dynamic mother and son duo who LOVE working at TCMC! Bernadette Rosete, RN started her nursing career at TCMC in 2007. She loves her TCMC family SO much, that when her son, Dean, got his nursing degree in 2021, she encouraged him to apply! "TCMC has given me SO much support and opportunities since I started... and this cemented my loyalty. I wanted my son to work here because I knew he would fit right in with the (family-friendly) culture here," says Bernadette. Dean says: "I really feel like I am part of a massive extended family. Working in an environment where you look forward to being with the people alongside you is truly a blessing." If you're an RN and might be looking for a great place to work, we encourage you to apply at: https://bit.ly/3UoCZc1

National Pharmacy Week, October 20 – 26, acknowledges all of the hard work the pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, put in everyday to ensure that TCMC patients receive the correct medications and dosages to treat their unique needs. Just down the street from the main hospital, the pharmacy staff at the Outpatient Infusion Center work together with doctors, nurses and the rest of their wonderful team to help patients undergoing treatment for cancer and other diseases. In addition to helping patients with cancer, the infusion center administers specialty infusions for patients with rare diseases and autoimmune disorders including ALS, Crohn’s disease and multiple sclerosis. THANK YOU, ONCOLOGY PHARMACISTS – AND ALL TCMC PHARMACISTS – FOR THE EXCELLENT CARE YOU PROVIDE TO OUR PATIENTS!
