ASIS just posted a great article on retail violence. It’s unfortunate one of the most important areas not addressed is having trained personnel to deal with life threatening injuries caused by this type violence. These are easily understood concepts and skills that anyone can learn to apply to a potentially life-threatening injury. Having a “stop the bleed” kit isn’t enough.
