I'm grateful to have spent an incredible day volunteering with Habitat for Humanity International yesterday alongside my driven Trimble Inc. colleagues. Together, we helped build affordable quadplex homes in Boulder, CO - a city where the housing crisis has reached critical levels. I learned that six in ten renters in Boulder County are cost-burdened, meaning they spend 30%-50% of their income on rent and utilities alone. It was an eye-opening and humbling experience to witness the work required to make someone's dream of affordable homeownership a reality. Thank you to Habitat for Humanity and to everyone I met yesterday on-site. Let's continue to make Boulder and surrounding areas more accessible, one home at a time! 🏘 #HabitatForHumanity #AffordableLiving #BoulderCommunity #HousingCrisis #ColoradoImpact #WCODayofService

Making connections: Matthew Ramage loves the #TrimbleDimensions user conference because of the magic that happens when people interact with their colleagues at other companies: "I'd say one of the biggest benefits of being at Dimensions is actually the networking opportunity. New ideas, new innovation comes from connection with other people in a similar space." And when you engage with peers who work outside your area of expertise, "that just makes us all more knowledgeable. Knowledge sharing is absolutely crucial in our industry for pushing forward." Matt also encourages attendees to become active catalysts in the learning process to get the most from the sessions and experiences at Dimensions: "These aren't just for sitting and watching and downloading. It is for engaging. There are people on stage that want to hear the questions. ... It's an opportunity to really interact on new ideas, new ways of working, taking those back and deploying them in your own profession, your own daily work." "I believe the free movement of data between systems and workflows is the next great unlock in construction productivity. The end goal is for all data to be accessible and interconnected, regardless of location or origin — from surveying and architectural design, to construction management and operations and maintenance. While that dream is still coming to fruition, gains are being made in the software space, helping contractors work more efficiently and profitably." Freight expectations: What's next for the truckload transportation sector in North America? Will nearshoring soak up overcapacity? What can shippers and carriers expect as we approach 2025? Predicting the future is impossible, but planning for it isn't. Our 47-page Transporeon report, "The Road Ahead: Key Trends and Capabilities Shaping the North American Freight Transportation Market," can help. The report analyzes market trends and data based on survey responses from Indago supply chain research community members as well as the Transporeon shipper and carrier community. In addition to insights on supply and demand, "The Road Ahead" covers nearshoring, freight fraud, sustainability, California AB5 and more. "We are confident this report will be a valuable resource for shippers and carriers at a time when the industry acknowledges it has been bumping along the bottom for a long period," says Transporeon's Ed Moran. "By recognizing important trends and identifying how such trends might support business growth, all parties can proactively exploit collaborative digital tools that meet the demands of shippers and carriers alike." Scheduling your sessions for #TrimbleDimensions? Consider adding the Spotlight Live discussions on AI, interoperability and other key topics. You'll get caught up on what's new, get a clearer sense of what's coming next, and get actionable insights and advice from Trimble experts and industry leaders on the work you're doing right now. Keeping our customers informed and up to speed on trends like AI — and how we and our partners, such as Microsoft, are approaching them — is important. As Trimble's Nathan Patton says, "We take that really seriously and I'm really proud that Trimble approaches AI under the lens of, 'How does this solve real problems? And how do we enable our customers to trust and have confidence that when they see that end output, they know the work that went into it?'" We're taking a responsible, intentional, hands-on approach to AI and other emerging technologies to "deliver a more complete solution that ... applies the right tools to the right problems to drive real innovation that matters." Hear more about Trimble's approach from Nathan and Gareth Gibson, Mala Gosakan, Aviad Almagor, Shelly Nooner, Ian Welch, Mark Schwartz and Christopher Cronin in the "New in Artificial Intelligence" video in our Dimensions Thought Leadership forum: https://lnkd.in/gNFAUJQC

We invite our phenomenal North American architecture, engineering and construction customers to enter this year's Trimble Construction Innovation Awards. It's quick, easy and you could win a free all-access pass to #TrimbleDimensions! This is a great way to be recognized and rewarded for your hard work and success. Winners will be selected in these categories: 🏆 Connected Construction Award Have you integrated two or more Trimble technologies – or integrated a Trimble solution with a third-party product – and experienced increased quality, productivity, efficiency or other benefits? Tell us how you’ve connected your workflows, people and data, and what you’ve achieved as a result. 🏆 Process Transformation Award Have Trimble solutions enabled your company to improve a specific architecture, engineering or construction process? This could be in the design, estimating or build/delivery phases, or it could be a back-office workflow delivering better people, equipment, project or financial management. 🏆 Data-Driven Decision Making Award Connecting data and making it more transparent and accessible can radically improve decision making, enabling businesses to be more efficient and proactive. We want to know how Trimble technology has enabled better access to data and how that access increases business intelligence and drives better, faster decision making at your company. 🏆 Most Challenging Project Award Have you used Trimble technology to overcome challenges and achieve a successful outcome on a particularly difficult project? We’re especially interested in projects that overcame significant, unusual or unexpected challenges (size/scope, design, weather, material delays, staffing issues, etc.) or benefitted from “outside the box” thinking or applications of technology. We also want to know how you finished on time, on budget, or met tough quality, safety or sustainability standards. 🏆 Workforce Achievement Award Technology plays a powerful role in attracting, onboarding, managing and retaining good people. Tell us how Trimble technology has made life better for your employees, such as how it helped them excel at their jobs, improve outcomes, or minimize time spent on unproductive tasks. Share how the implementation of a Trimble solution improved morale and retention or made it easier to manage your people, projects or partners, such as customers, subcontractors or vendors. 🏆 Changemaker Award This is an opportunity to spotlight yourself or another person at your company who is driving change through implementation, adoption or advocacy of Trimble technology. Perhaps it’s a designer or engineer who convinced their team to try a new solution, an IT professional who realized disconnected data was slowing down the business, an estimator or project manager who has improved processes, or a CFO with a passion to see how the company is performing at a glance.
