Our organization is based on the work Coach Mike D.A. informally started as a convict inside the federal prison system. He helped dozens of his fellow prisoners transform their lives as he transformed his own. That work continued in his hometown of Cleveland, Oho after his release. In 2013, Coach formally began community prevention and intervention activities among the youth to steer them away from negative choices and behavior. We look forward to the continued journey in our return to Ohio. It'll be in a new city, however it'll be the same passion and ambition to guide our young people. This is just one area of TAYC (Tru' Alchemi Youth Center) that we envision as a space for youth to safely develop in. Coach Mike D.A. has spent over a decade working in recreational and wellness facilities. He learned what is and isn't working in those settings for young people. In TAYC, the youth won't be secondary considerations. They will be the primary focus.
