Truck-Lite is thrilled to announce that we were named "Supplier of the Year" at the Fleetpride Supplier Summit! We were awarded "Supplier of the Year" for partnering in data and marketing efforts to further grow eCommerce with an emphasis on product displays within their brand locations across the country. Truck-Lite McElhattan's facility team was involved in a Kaizen activity last week as a part Clarience Technologies Operating System’s Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence initiative. The team focused their efforts on changeover processes in Molding Operations. They used SMED concept to review current process, understand opportunities for improvement, and developed plans to design a new changeover process that can be achieved in 50% less time. Kudos to all the team members who were involved in this exercise! Thank you to Stephen Lewis for arranging this activity and Sujay Deshpande for facilitating this training. Also, thank you to our Truck-Lite Leaders Jon Stineman and Tyler Benedict the encouragement and support of this initiative!

Meet Our Customer Service Expert- Customer Service Manager, Kirsten Boardman. Kirsten started her career with Truck-Lite 14 years ago. She was promoted from Customer Service Coordinator to Customer Service Manager about 10 years ago. Prior to Truck-Lite, she was a Customer Service Manager for 16 years in the food industry. In her current role, Kirsten oversees the Customer Service team for our large Trailer, Truck, Body, Agriculture and Military accounts. Some of her job responsibilities include setting up new customers in our system, processing EDI orders, handling intercompany shipments, monitoring delivery performance for our large customers, working with Accounting to resolve billing issues, and more! Kirsten is also the Export Compliance Manager, overseeing Export Controlled Shipments for military parts shipping out of the USA, applying for export licenses, and processing Commodity Jurisdiction requests. Kirsten’s dedication, and ambition to deliver better solutions to Truck-Lite is admirable. Her extensive knowledge and understanding of customer’s needs has led her to had great relationships with customers & sales teams alike. Kirsten has been married for 30 years and has 3 amazing boys. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, crafting, and walking her dogs. Thank you for all you do! #customerservice #lightingsolutions
