Karen Smerchek, President and Owner of Veriha Trucking, Inc., has been named Chairman of the Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) for the 2025-2026 term.    With a strong focus on safety, innovation, and advocacy, Smerchek will lead TCA in advancing industry sustainability, driver support, and regulatory progress. She also becomes the first woman to hold this prestigious role. Smerchek’s appointment was announced at TCA’s Annual Convention in Phoenix, AZ, on March 18, 2025. Another great day at TCA Annual Convention in Phoenix! The first full day of TCA Annual Convention was packed with exciting events! Yesterday was a great kick-off to TCA Annual Convention!
