Support the TCA Scholarship Fund by Sponsoring a Wreath! TCA is excited to join the Wreaths Across America (WAA) Truckloads of Remembrance initiative to honor the service and sacrifice of our veterans by placing sponsored wreaths at cemeteries across the country this December. TCA's goal is to fill a trailer with 5,000 wreaths, each representing a fallen hero. The sponsorship for each wreath is $17, and every wreath you sponsor not only honors a veteran but also contributes to a great cause. For every wreath sponsorship, TCA will receive $5, which will directly benefit the TCA Scholarship Fund. The TCA Scholarship Fund, which has been providing financial assistance since 1973, helps students connected to the trucking industry pursue higher education. In the 2024/2025 academic year alone, the fund will award $168,000 in scholarships to 60 students. TCA Highway Angel Alert! TCA has named truck driver Eric "Zach" Rogers, from Florence, AL, a TCA Highway Angel for helping an elderly woman who crashed her car while experiencing a medical emergency on Highway 72 just west of Slayden, Mississippi. After the motorist crossed the lanes of traffic in front of him and ran off the road, Rogers called 911 and stayed with her until emergency services arrived. Rogers works for Carter Express, Inc.
