Building with AI has never been easier. Here's how to build your own custom GPTs in ~3 minutes. (Spoiler Alert: You don't need to code) 1.) Open ChatGPT -> Click your profile -> Select "My GPTs" _______ 2.) From the "My GPTs" Page, Click "Create a GPT" There will be two tabs "Create" and "Configure" -> Select "Configure" _______ 3.) Give a name and description for what you want your GPT to do. In this example, I replicated the free version of TrueLetter, which generates ready-to-publish affiliate articles. _______ 4.) Give Your GPT Instructions. This is the most important part. This section should be used to help your GPT understand: - Who you are - What your goals are - What your interests are - What limitations should be set - Format of outputs Following this framework will help your GPT be more effective: - Introduction (2-3 sentences of context) - Role (2-3 sentences on what it should do and how it should act) - Abilities (1-2 sentences on what it can do. Example: scrape the web, using DALLE, ask clarifying questions, etc.) - Objective (1-2 sentences on the goal) _______ 5.) Upload Data/Attachments If you have examples, guides, or other data that would lead to a better output, here's your chance to include it. _______ 6.) Select GPT features that you want your GPT to have access to. It's probably best to select all three (web browsing, DALL-E, Code interpreter) _______ 7.) Congratulations, you just made your own GPT. OpenAI dropped a bombshell update yesterday. Here are the 5 most notable changes: 1.) Custom GPTs - Custom GPTs allow you to craft your ChatGPT with unique abilities, knowledge, and skill sets, all through simple instructional text. - This means you can build AI Apps without the need for coding expertise. 2.) The App Store of AI - The GPT Store revolutionizes the marketplace by allowing you to build and market your own GPT Apps, providing a platform for innovation and entrepreneurship in the AI space. - Think of how many revolutionary platforms and tools came from the launch of the Apple App Store. 3.) GPT-4 Turbo - The release of GPT-4 Turbo marks a significant upgrade with its expanded 128k context window, allowing for more extensive and complex prompts. - With its knowledge database updated until April 2023, GPT-4 Turbo ensures that the ChatGPT is as up-to-date as it gets. 4.) Assistants API - The Assistants API is set to revolutionize application development by allowing the integration of agent-like AI experiences. - This opens up possibilities for a variety of applications. Examples: an AI for natural language data analysis, a programming aide, or an AI travel planner. 5.) Copyright Shield - With the introduction of the Copyright Shield, OpenAI commits to protecting users from the legal intricacies of copyright infringement, providing defense, and covering associated costs for their customers using OpenAI products.
