It's October 1st, which means it's the start of our annual fundraising drive in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We're proud to partner with PA Breast Cancer Coalition again for another October full of fundraising activities. This year, in addition to rounding up your purchase or buying a pink ribbon, we also have a special breast cancer awareness tote available for purchase at our PA locations. Last year, we were able to raise $50,000 for the cause, and we hope to exceed last year's number by the end of the month!

As August comes to a close, we're wrapping up our National Coloring Book Day promotion. We loved seeing everyone's coloring sheets hanging up in our stores, so here is a round up of some of our favorites! Last week in honor of National Coloring Book Day, we launched the first official Onvo coloring book, available for free at all Onvo locations! For the whole month of August, we're giving out free "Take a Trip with Onvo" coloring books, as well as coloring sheets for Onvo fans to bring back to redeem for a free ice cream sandwich. We're excited to give our biggest fans an opportunity to engage with the world of Onvo the Owl and to earn a sweet treat in the process!

Yesterday, May Effler celebrated 20 years with our company. May works at our Onvo location in Gibson and has been a true team player throughout her time with us. Over the past 20 years, she has learned many roles and worked hard to keep the team well-rounded. Thank you for your 20 years, May; we look forward to many more!

We are proud to announce that this year Onvo will be participating in 24/7 day. 24/7 Day is a day for recognizing and thanking first responders, medical professionals, and Red Cross volunteers who work around-the-clock (24/7) to support the communities where we live, work and study. We invite those heroes (first responders, Red Cross Volunteers, and medical personnel) to stop by any of our locations on Wednesday, July 24th for a free hot or iced coffee. Imagine a rock legend like Robert Plant, lead singer of Led Zeppelin, showing up at your workplace in the middle of your shift. Well that was what happened the other day at an Onvo Burger King! At Onvo, we happily provide all our guests with service that makes them feel like a rockstar!

This past Friday at our Blakeslee location, we hosted our Annual Pocono NASCAR Race Weekend Kickoff Party. Guests who stopped by and signed up for Onvo Rewards had the chance to spin our prize wheel to win tickets to the NASCAR race! If you visited Onvo for a pit stop before the race to fuel up, you may have received a free windshield cleaning from one of Onvo’s district managers or a iced coffee sample from another team member. Burger King even joined in the fun by distributing free samples and a special race day-themed cake! A big thank you to all our vendors who made this event special, and thanks to everyone who stopped by! We hope our winners had a fantastic time at the race!
