Congratulations to Montview Boulevard Presbyterian Church and the team from Tryba Architects, recipients of this year's Community Preservation Award from Historic Denver. For more than 120 years, Montview Boulevard Presbyterian Church has been a prominent landmark and community anchor in Denver’s historic Park Hill neighborhood. Renovations have addressed the needs of a twenty-first century congregation, while remaining true to its history. A newly revitalized lobby and insertion of a glazed façade enhance the entry. Refurbishment of the historic sanctuaries and stained glass creates a ‘cathedral of light’ connecting people to the history and cultural narrative of place.
