Amazon’s retail profitability has improved meaningfully over the last several quarters, thanks to: ▪ Growing into its fulfillment network capacity that doubled (!) over COVID ▪ Amazon Ads growing 20%+ ▪ Increased fees for 3P sellers ▪ Increased funding from 1P vendors While the business is back to profitability, Amazon is not pressing its foot off the gas when it comes to 1P funding.
