Thrilled to share a successful CSPA case for a 30 year old application. After many years apart our client is FINALLY reunited with his family. Here’s the Story: Our client came to the U.S. as a tourist to visit his mother and discovered the updated CSPA law. At 30 years old, this gave him hope. He realized he might still have a chance for a green card after missing out six years earlier when his family received theirs, as he had already aged out under the old rules. Key Solution What made this case unique was freezing his age at 20, even as a tourist, using the revised CSPA law. We carefully calculated his eligibility, filed Form I-130, and submitted his I-485 adjustment of status, using an alternative filing chart to retroactively freeze his age. This process involved extensive review and documentation of timelines, birth records, and USCIS memos. With these special workarounds, detailed calculations, and a well-prepared adjustment application, our client successfully secured his green card, reuniting him with his family after years of separation and overcoming the heartbreak of aging out. What a case. #CSPA  #immigrationlawyer

  • We are pleased to share a recent success story involving the parole of a former lawful permanent resident (LPR) into the U.S. after 30 years abroad. Our client had a drug-related conviction on his record and faced significant challenges in reentering the country. The reason for his request? To attend his daughter’s wedding, a moment he had long awaited. Given his extended absence and the conviction, reentry as a green card holder was impossible, and a tourist visa was out of reach. We worked closely with CBP, meticulously preparing and presenting detailed evidence of the wedding and our client’s commitment to compliance. By providing comprehensive documentation and assurances, we ultimately secured a 90-day parole. This allowed him to reunite with his daughter on her special day. We’re proud to have helped a father share in his daughter’s wedding and look forward to continuing our work, reuniting families in challenging circumstances. #ImmigrationSuccess #Parole #FamilyReunion

  • We wrapped our second speaker event at Tsang & Associates! 🎉 Huge thanks to Megan Guzman from the Law Office of Megan Guzman for sharing her expertise on Litigation and Mandamus with our legal interns and staff. We had a fantastic presentation followed by a Q&A session, and we wrapped up the day celebrating our intern Benjamin De Guzman's last day. It was an educational day filled with wisdom, the best Mexican food, and great company. #lawfirmlife
