Congratulations to Suresh Garimella on being named the 23rd president of the University of Arizona. It’s both an honor and a weighty responsibility to be entrusted with advancing the mission of this institution that realizes our hope for a better future. On campus every day, the world opens as theories are tested, skills are sharpened and brilliance is burnished with hard work. As another longstanding Tucson institution of more than 130 years and counting, we’re looking forward to continuing our collaboration and we hope you enjoy getting to know this very special community.

July was a busy month for our employees. We didn't let the heat stop us from getting out in the community to share important information about safety and energy-efficiency. ☀️Our team shared monsoon preparedness tips at the Trail Dust Town’s Annual Monsoon Party. ☀️ Customers learned how to be Net Zero Heroes at the Ward 5 Back to School event at the Pueblo Neighborhood Center. ☀️ We distributed water bottles, pencils, LEDs, and night lights at the Back to School Bash at the Quincie Douglas Center.
