At TULLOCH, we believe in supporting our industry and giving back to the professional community. Many of our team members volunteer their time to serve local and provincial organizations in the engineering field, including Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO). 🔹 Earlier in November, we joined a PEO Networking Bowling Night in Elliot Lake to commemorate the city's significant contributions to safety in Ontario, marking the 50th anniversary of the Elliot Lake miners' strike and the 10th anniversary of the Elliot Lake Commission. Thanks to Robert Bressan (PEO Algoma Chapter Chair and TULLOCH Civil/Environmental Engineer) and Alice Bom for organizing this event, with Elliot Lake's Engineer-of-Record and long-time TULLOCH Civil Engineer, Chris Kirby, also in attendance. 🔹 Last week, the Algoma PEO Chapter celebrated five new Professional Engineers at the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Museum in Sault Ste. Marie. Chapter Chair Robert Bressan helped organize the event and presented certificates to each new engineer. The evening also highlighted the 'Future of Engineering' alongside their engineering parents and the PEO Chapter Executive, including TULLOCH's Vince Albanese, who serves as PEO Algoma's Chapter Secretary. Congratulations to all the new Professional Engineers! #EngineeringCommunity #PEO #ProfessionalEngineers #OntarioEngineering #CommunitySupport #EngineeringExcellence #FutureOfEngineering #AlgomaPEO

Always Remember Their Last Stand At the eleventh hour, united we stand, Under the maple leaf that crowns our land. We salute the brave who answered the call, Their spirits endure, inspiring us all. From Vimy Ridge to Passchendaele's mud, Their sacrifice sealed in courage and blood. On Dieppe's shores, against ocean tide, They stood unwavering, side by side. We remember the souls of family and friends, Who fought with valour until the bitter end. We thank them deeply for their sacrifice, Freedom paid at the greatest price. When daily troubles burden our hearts, Their tales uplift and worries depart. In battles past and conflicts anew, We pray for peace and hope it's true. Poppies grow where heroes lie, Beneath the stars of northern skies. Their memories live on, forevermore, Their spirits unite us stronger than before. True North strong, united and free, Their legacy secures our liberties. TULLOCH joins the nation's embrace, Honouring those who passed with grace. From sea to sea, hand in hand, We will always remember their last stand.

TULLOCH's Planning team in Sudbury was crucial in securing council approval for an industrial rezoning off Municipal Road 35, paving the way for our client, BMG Engineering Ltd.'s new development. TULLOCH managed this application by preparing the rezoning application, a planning justification report, a servicing options report, and other materials. TULLOCH is proud to support mining-supportive manufacturing businesses throughout Northern Ontario as they continue to grow and best serve the thriving resource sector in the North.
